We have been recently able to acquire, courtesy of the
Royal Marine Museum, a photo of a 1775 British Marine Grenadier Cap. While the hair from the bear skin is long gone, the plate is in perfect condition. (Many thanks to Gregory Scott for cleaning up the photo.)
