The Marines recently attended events at the William Paca House, on July 4th ( http://www.annapolis.org/index.asp?pageid=50 ) which hosted over 500 visitors in a single day.  We spoke with lots of interested visitors to tell them more about the "other side" of things during the war.

Some of us also supported the Historic London Town & Gardens "Rev War" event, on July 10th, and spoke with the many hundreds of visitors at the site.  Highlights of the event included artillery firings by a naval crew, kids (of all ages) musket drills, cooking demonstrations, and an effigy burning of Lord North.

This past weekend (July 16, 17) some of us attended the very good "Escape from Wyoming" event outside of Scranton, PA.  Right next to Mount Pocono, we fought militia as we raided the valley to drive out the local farmers supporting the rebellion.  It was hot, lots of battles, but a very good time.

The Marines will be on a bit of a summer break, resting up for our next big event at Mount Harmon Plantation in late September.  We hope to see you there.
