The 235th Annivesary of the Battle of Monmouth
The Marines turned out with the 43d Regiment of Foot against the rebel forces at the 235th Anniversary of the Battle of Monmouth in New Jersey.

1775 British Marine Grenadier Cap
We have been recently able to acquire, courtesy of the Royal Marine Museum, a photo of a 1775 British Marine Grenadier Cap. While the hair from the bear skin is long gone, the plate is in perfect condition. (Many thanks to Gregory Scott for cleaning up the photo.)
